Background

Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who received her Masters in Social Work at NYU’s Silver School of Social Work in 2010. She spent two years working with children and families with developmental delays at a special education pre-school before taking a senior clinical position with Montefiore’s Group Attachment-Based Intervention (GABI) program in the Bronx, NY. She’s also had the pleasure of working as a parental mental health therapist with the Healthy Steps pediatric team at Montefiore for two years.

For over a decade, Brooke has focused on treating pregnant and parenting families, couples, and individuals experiencing identity shifts in their lives (young adults, new parents, etc.). Brooke is licensed in the state of New York (NYS License #084231).

Her work is relational, insight-oriented, and based in psychodynamic theory. She has been trained in object relations, attachment theory, trauma work, and mindfulness.
